Hello. Welcome to McCracken Middle School and Coach Fowler's Contemporary Cultures Class. I am excited and thankful for the opportunity to teach you child this year. Allow me to tell you a little about myself. This is my third year at McCracken overall, my first year teaching social studies. I previous worked as a teacher's assistant. I am also the head basketball coach at MMS. I was born and raise in South Carolina and I have lived here most of my life. I received my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and History from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. I receive a Master's in Liberal Arts degree from Converse College. I am married with two children, a young daughter and a young son. I am honored to be your partner in education and I look forward to working with you and your child this year.

My Educational Philosophy
I feel that my duty as a teacher is to ensure that all of my students enjoy a secure, caring, and stimulating learning environment that will enhance their growth and maturity, as well as their emotional and intellectual development. When students leave my classroom, it is my hope that I have prepared them to become productive members and future leaders of society.
